Earlier this year, I found out from the Hunters' legal department that I'd been named in a lawsuit over some collateral damage during a mission several years ago. The lawyers said that I didn't need to worry since the circumstances are in our favor, but I couldn't help but feel at loose ends about it. There's a chance it might go to trial, and if so, I might be called to the stand. So I figured I should look into the suit and just what was going on.
Maybe it was random or a stroke of luck that I took some of the papers into the Nexus with me.
I'd hoped a change in scenery would give me a change in perspective, instead I ran into a lawyer. Mr. Tyne was very helpful. Talking with him definitely gave me perspective on the situation.
The next day,
I ran into another Enzan. This one told me he was a mercenary in his world - in almost a sort of guild setup, from what I understood. I have a feeling someone might be cheating him out of money from his jobs. It wouldn't surprise me if someone in the organization was cheating him because he was illiterate. Considering the list he was waving around of jobs and payments, I couldn't believe how little he was making. That lives are worth so little in his world...
It makes little sense for the governments of his world to allow the organization to exist without regulations or restrictions to prevent them from being thieves and hitmen.
