still alive (somewhat)

Finally decided to get back on and type at everyone. This last year has been a busy one - to say the least. The Black Swan Tribe is still going strong and getting stronger each day. Between that and family I barely have time to scratch myself. Also I am not a computer person and I forgot my password (oops). I wouldn't trade either though. Last night I went out to dinner with Daryl (main squeeze, husband, hanger on...). It was a friend's birthday party. It was great to catch up with everyone. We had a lovely time, much good food and gossip was had by all.
I have had my first major non seasonal attack of psoriasis these last two weeks. It was brought on by me foolishly using some wipes to take make up off. I have had sensitive skin forever and know about using wipes and so on but I did it anyway (dir - whack myself in the head). The first clue that something was amiss was the stinging. The next morning I woke up looking like the elephant man (I am not an animal - really) and then the rash progressed down my arms to my wrists. Luckily we have only had one performance since then so I have been able to hide and recover. In April the Black Swan Tribe will be performing at Relay for Life on the main stage - really exciting stuff for us so I have been in quite a panic about having psoriasis. Trust me it's not a good look.
This week is only a four day week. Liam, my son who is 12 informed me of this gleefully today. So it is Easter and Swancon next week. I don't think that we will be performing at Swancon this year, we haven't heard anything and I just check out the website - no mention of anything but you never know. I will show up at some stage for dinner and gossip though.
Well, thats about all for today, I am going to try and get on here semi regularly like.
