The controversy over George Bush/America not being "free" or whatever the hell everyone complains about: Stop bitching. He's our president, there's nothing you can do about it. There's obviously more people who DO want him as our president than people who dont since he's in office again. We have freedom, we aren't being tortured or imprisoned and we don't have daily terrorist attacks. Be greatful. As for the war thing, people died in WWII and every OTHER war we've been in too, did they not?
If this is not the most ignorant rant about George W. Bush I've ever seen, then I haven't seen one yet. For now, you top the cake. There's nothing anti-Bush/Cheney people can do about his re-election, true. Unless someone wants to plant incriminating photos of him and 'another woman' in a newspaper. But that isn't the point. If you remain silent about that which bothers you, you do the world less good. President Bush is an idiot, a charlatan, and the only good thing to come from his re-election is the fact that he can never be president again after 2008. I'm marking my calendar already. But back to my point. We have freedom, yes. We don't have daily terrorist attacks. But we are a state that is completely entrenched in poverty and a billion dollar deficit. What has been done about the actual streets of America since he became President? Heightened security measures? Our security was good prior to September 11th. Those douchebags in the intelligence agencies just paid zero attention to the warnings. And how have President's "take from the poor, give to the rich" tax deductions helped the world any? All he has succeeded in doing since 2000 is that he's built up a military that no other country could POSSIBLY hope to defeat. At the cost of thousands (over time) of American lives .. people who are my age. Between 18 and 30. People who had more than half a life ahead of them.
And you want our anti-Bush sentiments to be kept quiet? No, fuck you. You go turn the other cheek, because HEY, it's OKAY for people to be living on the streets when that money that went to buying more stealth bombers and tanks could have gone to cleaning up America.
