Wow, Mom and Dad have been really laid back the past week. Really really laid back. Letting me get away with practically anything and letting me do a whole bunch of stuff they never let me do before. Its about time they do, I'm not some idiot kid, I think I'm responsible. Though some stuff makes me wonder if they had a personality transplant or are doing drugs (which I wouldn't be surprised considering I keep smelling something at night). They are even letting me drive one of their cars, alone, despite the fact I only have a permit.
Not that I'm complaining, driving is awesome and I'm a pretty good driver. No police officers have pulled me over at all! Its just strange considering how much they had freaked about me disappearing for over a week. But hey, maybe it made them realize that I can take care of myself just fine.
The babysitting job on the other hand? Not so awesome considering I haven't actually done any of it. Drove (which so much better than biking) over to Dylan's house eariler today. And jeez, what a dump its become. Really, I had to cover my nose just entering that place it was so bad. And Connor and Dylan? Totally wasted. I know they were on drugs, Dylan even offered me some. Which no way. Not willing to test how easy going my parents are. Turns out Taylor is still at his grandparents' place, which might be a good thing after I saw what shape their place is. Though Dylan talked about how Taylor was being a brat and hated it there, yet refused to come back home. Poor kid, having to choose between that place and a place he hates. I would hate having to be in his shoes.
Though at least I learned who his grandparents are. Turns out its that Angel guy who got sucked into the book when Gia brought Galen. Wow, wasn't expecting that. From what Dylan told me before he went all druggie, he's probably still pissed at me for the entire thing. But you know what, I think I'm going to go there anyway tomorrow. Let him be as mad as he wants to be, I'll talk to him if he is. I'm worried about Taylor and want to make sure he's okay. Plus who knows, maybe Angel and everyone there is really busy and don't have time to watch him. They could use a babysitter. Doesn't hurt to ask.
