I'm sorry, LJ. I miss you.
There's one dish my grandma has been making almost every week that, in Vietnamese, I "don't know how to eat." I'm not sure why I'm so against it... I can't even remember the last time I tried it or if I've ever tried it at all.
Every time I see it, like tonight, I think, "I should try it... now? Or... sometime..." And then I never do.
Never. All the time. Next time?
It's called bitter gourd soup ("canh muop dang" sans accent marks). Photo next time as well?
