I need to get back into the OOC journal swing of things. I don't know how many people are really all that interested in my WHOA stressful life, but what the heck. It's a good stress reliever getting it all out in text.

It's like free therapy! Though I try to put my more serious/TMI posts that are actually my writerly therapy under a cut.

And in re your post up there... I LOVE Magneto as a character. He has so much complexity. The cartoon totally dropped the ball with him (even though I loved the X-Men cartoon for many many reasons) and turned him into a cheesy monologuing/shouting villain-type.

I've been falling behind on my posts over here too, but I try to keep up. It's mostly a lot of stuff about the babies!

Yeah. I never really respected Magneto as a character until the lovely BB convinced me to RP him. (I blame my girly childhood love of Gambit and Rogue for never considering him as being anybody worth RPing up until that point.) But Magneto is probably one of the most well developed comic book characters ever. And the silver hair is sexy. ;D I really miss that game.

I WISH I HAD MORE TIME FOR RP.

Oh god, I STILL love Gambit and Rogue! lol. And Jean Grey and Scott Summers, even if their relationship is super dysfunctional. Then again, so is Black Canary/Green Arrow and even Lois and Clark have had a loooot of crazy wtf issues too. I think comics is just not a good place to be a fictional character in a long term relationship.

And yes, one day you will realize that school and doctoring is just silly and trivial and RP is much more important!

Recently I was going through a box of my old comics and I found SO MANY with Rogue/Gambit covers. Memoriesssss.

Black Canary/Green Arrow is love too.

I love love love BC/GA even though they have the most unhealthy relationship like EVER. And their unhealthiness/messed-upness wasn't even retconned out like with Lois and Clark's issues. It was part of their canon (until the DCnU reboot, and since my brain hasn't really accepted the new canon as actual canon and not just an AU experiment, it doesn't count)

But those two are sort of my muse at the moment, so my fic journal is filled with BC/GA stories. Which is ironic, given WC Dinah's 'hell no' feelings toward ever trying again with Ollie.

And you will eventually. You're still so young with so much to learn, but I have faith! bahahaha :)
