My hubby has to take his wedding ring off for work as he is a heavy dury mechanic. So during working hours he wears his ring around a chain around his neck.

I found out soon after I married my husband that I am allergic to gold. I've been looking for a silver ring that I love that I'll purchase. My husband kept wearing his until the day when he took his ring off at work to wash his hands and accidentally left it in the bathroom. Either someone took it or it fell down the sink. We'll be purchasing some new wedding bands for our 5th anniversary in August though.

Have you seen any of James Avery's stuff (JamesAvery.com). Most of their stuff is made in silver and is very unique and really beautiful.

No worries. I always love their stuff and always thought that if for some reason I couldn't wear gold that I'd probably get something from there.

I only wear my wedding ring on special occasions. I am allergic to it. I have a silver claddagh I wear sometimes.

My husband has never taken his off.

My husband isn't allowed to wear his ring right now because he is over seas. We upgraded my ring because the diamond fell out of my engagement ring and he just wanted to get me a better ring then the one I got first. Although, I am going to get my engagement ring fixed.

The only time my husband takes his ring off is when we go swimming, as his is slightly loose. Then, I wear it around my neck on a chain. My ring fits fine so I wear it 100% of the time.
