Life treats me well now, albeit a bit bittersweet. I have everything a man could desire, though it lies a thousand miles North of here. From the southern edge of America, happiness has been a long time comin', but just as a train can derail, the track can be repaired. Too long it feels, since I dreamed of boxcars scurrying and the sun my only clock. In the blink of an eye, life can come running at you carrying daisies or a switchblade.
