Because my college is super lame and we haven't had our spring break yet, I've grown considerably restless and overwhelmed. However, this friday marks the first day of spring break, and since I have two jobs and can not get time off to leave this (goddamned) city, I decided to do the following things within my week without classes

i spent my spring break in houghton, being co-dependent.

we ate sushi on tuesday, i tried dying my hair (it didn't change at all), applied for my passport (which i have, so now i am all set for my trip to mexico), watched way too many bad movies (crossroads, anyone?) and got horribly drunk while making fun of them, ate dinner with my ex-boyfriend and current boyfriend, drank lots of coffee at my favorite cafe across the street from mike's apartment where i frequented last summer, read a memoir of someone with OCD, made recipes out of The Silver Spoon (according to the cover it is the definitive Italian cooking bible?), napped when ever i felt like it, etc.

i remember drinking far too much, since i had nowhere to be.
it was delightful, up to a point.

my spring break was at the end of february...so long ago!

I was going to spend my spring break with a boy, a magnificent boy... took time off work, booked the tickets and everything. He made me cancel. Suddently realized he wasn't "emotinally ready". So I untook the time off, accrued a huge credit card debt... spent the week working and locking myself in the bathroom screaming the word "fuck" repeatedly.

It was fun. I now have $40 in my bank account.
