Last night was alot of fun. I went to the meeting I had to go to for work, which was nothing more than all of the REgion IV counselors listening while a few park managers spoke of sexual harrasment, child abuse, and proper attire. Then they taough us a few new games to teach the kids.
After catching the 87 to Bird, it started raining, pouring actually. I stood waiting for the 40 in the rain. Chelsea and Liz were on it which was kinda cool. Then, when I got to Tropical Park, I had to walk around looking for that damn community center. I saw this girl talking on the phone, and I approached her. She was a counselor too. At my park. Her name was Tami. She was ridiculously gorgeous. We poked, prodded, and flirted our way through the night. She's alot of fun. This'll be a great summer.
AFterwards, the 10 or so counselors from A.D. Barnes went out to eat at Olive Garden. As Mika would say: aHmazing! It was great. We played games and such. It was fun.
Yesterday was pretty harsh. I felt pretty bad, and I thought a few times of staying. Alina made me a goodbye cake. Annette made me a card. Lourdes wrote me a long ass lj comment (I read all of it). I honestly really do love you guys. I'm so happy to have spent the time with you that I did.
Annette. It was really nice seeing that she really cared. I don't care what anyone thinks, but after having a crush on someone for five years, and then watching them date this perfect guy, and then having them come straight to you and tell you when they broke up...it's amazing. When I was writing those few notes last night, I didnt know if I should write her one. I'm glad I did. I'm so confident in myself. Rather, I'm cocky as hell. But when it comes to Annette, I never think I could be anything to her. But God Almighty she makes me smile.
