The stars in the sky glisten and shine
While the stars in your eyes burnout
I used to love getting lost in the universe of your mind
Now I'm expected to lose myself in this small expanse of sky
We used to be invisible, you and me
We were able to see Europe from the shores of our dreams
So close to being perfect, you and I
So close to living the lies we wished we had wanted
The sun doesn't shine as bright since you've left
And my heart doesn't beat as fast
When you left you took me with you
I know you think of me when the sun sets
