Fugue remix

Now that I’ve amassed enough tools to properly produce music, I’m finally getting around to polishing up various songs I’ve written over the years, using high quality patches, adding more dynamics, tempo feel changes, etc...

Here’s the first one to make it to the finish line:
“A taste of Fugue” -- http://www.sserpent.com/MAIN/WARY/TasteOfFugue.wma

This one was easier as it’s just all organ, though each voice actually has a separate patch to help make it a little more distinct.  I really wanted to automate the instrument mix in my multi-instrument patch in Kontakt. The idea is that emphasizing a given instrument within the multi is akin to changing the stops on a real organ. Unfortunately, I couldn’t figure out how to send automation to just one of the instruments within the multi. Fortunately, some of the instruments responded to the mod wheel, so I used that in conjunction with overall patch volume for dynamics.

Anyway, there’s always something...and I’m sure I’ll tweak a bit more when I master it with the other tracks, but for now I’m calling it done and moving onto the next!
