Getting back into the swing of things.

I haven't written in a long time so look out. Here it comes.
Since I have been back from Christmas holiday I have been one word--homesick. I think it is partly because of all the weather here. Grey and rain. It is cold too, actually about the same as it has been in Toronto.
I am really disappointed in the school. I had a lesson observation that I didn't do as well on as I had hoped-- and due to politics-- I only got good with outstanding features-- not outstanding. I was dropped down because of 2 boys in my class who didn't pay attention in the last 10 minutes. I am tempted to quit and return-- but then I wouldn't get a reference-- which would make this last year a waste. Plus if I did that I would be leaving my form (class) who are really quite wonderful.
What is new in the world of Kyla? Well Darren and I broke up before the holiday, and now I have so much free time-- too much actually. I am not sure what to do with it. So I have been going to the gym. Practically everyday. My gym kicks ass. It has a hot tub, steam room, sauna, pool, and cardio equipment that has personal tvs for each person. Everyone there is really nice and it is right across the street from my house. So if I keep going perhaps I will look a little different when I come home. Yesterday I wasted way too much money on a GHD straightener. I am going to fix my hair-- it is getting a little out of control-- but is finally growing. I am thinking about putting some colour in it-- red perhaps?
I am going to see the Tempest with Patrick Stewart in it. That will be very cool. A definate perk of being so close to London. But money is getting a little low. My apartment is so small and cramped and beyond messy right now. I have to spend a good portion of my time today cleaning it. I still have no table so I use my ironing board as one. Pretty funny to be living like this. I feel like a hamster or something. There is also a rocky horror meet thing- at the hardrock cafe in Feburary rumour-- Peter Hinwood may be there as one of the guests. Should be fun.
I have another holiday upcoming. Any suggestions where I should go?
