Passion
The past couple of weeks I've been really thinking about what it is that I want to do with my life and what it is that I'm really passionate about. I have alot of interests and tend to be a bit scatterbrained in terms of staying focus on one thing. A few things have remained constant since I was a little girl; writing, fashion, language and travel. Hmmm put it all together... and I'm still lost but I have something to work with.
I've always loved reading and keeping journals and my barbies were always dressed in whatever latest fashion I had outfitted them with for the day (fitted tube socks, little crocheted sweaters, etc.) I even remember being in nursery school playing the 'spanish game'; a bunch of us would play 'House' and we'd all pretend to speak Spanish and every so often we'd stop to translate ROFL (I went to school in Spanish Harlem for 13 years, please bear with me). I've had a passport since I was 7 and I always loved traveling and meeting new people.
Well I've been thinking about taking a fashion drawing class and/or a writing class while I'm handling my school/financial business. That way I could have something outside of work and home that I can do and just not stress for a while. As for the language part, I'm gonna have Jorge speak less english and more Creole at home. I understand some of what he mumbles under his breath because of those 3 years of HS french but its not enough.
Whats Your Passion? If there were one (or two) things that you wouldn't mind doing for the rest of your life what would they be?
