(no subject)
So apparently, Mark and I have no recollection of seeing the Arctic Monkeys after supporting Franz Ferdinand at the Dice Bar. Last night we went to his friend's party, who he told me he hadn't seen in over a year. So when he introduces me she said we had already met at after the gig Franz Ferdinand at the Dice Bar. So I keep thinking, "When did we go to the Dice Bar?" She mentioned something about there being a battle of the bands or something that night, and I said, no I think it was just a regular band (I only knew this because I don't think the Dice Bar has ever had a battle of the bands, so that meant it was one of those forgettable bands that sometimes play). But Mark and I couldn't figure this out. I remember the car ride home and what we were talking about, but again, why did we go to the Dice Bar? I remembered I was staying at my aunt’s, so that meant it was 2005. But why did we go to the Dice Bar? Then Mark says that Liz went with us, and I thought, when did we go to the Dice Bar together? Finally I realized, "It was the Arctic Monkeys!" So I cannot say I've seen the Arctic Monkeys because I have no memory of that night whatsoever.
