(no subject)
so tonight def. brings me out of hibernation bc this story is just way to messed up for me not to.
So here's the set up...
Kate and I are in my mom's living room laying around. my brother comes in and starts talking to me knowing that me and kate are hanging out. We obviously get no privacy so she ends up leaving bc she has a test tomorrow(saturday) morning. she calls me about 5 minutes after leaving and says, hey, I just had a blow-out on my moms car. i'm kinda freakin. I immediately ask where she is and jump in the car bc honestly, what else would a boyfriend or a friend in general for that matter do?
So i come up on her car which happens to be on a street that's downward sloping. She's called AAA to come out and give roadside assitance. She calls them at 11:30 to come. they say 45 minutes. I try to change the tire myself. In order to do this i need a jack and some light. So i leave my moms car lights on behind her car and begin to jack up the car. Turns out that the jack isn't strong enough bc everytime i get the car off the ground it starts to roll forward bc of the slope. We abonden the idea of me doing it and decide to wait. I go back to my moms car and the battery is dead.
Turns out that leaving the lights on for so long screwed it.
Now if you caan do math you'd know 45 minutes after 11:30 is 12:15. 12:20 rolls around and kate hasn't gotten a call aat all. She calls them and the lady says, actually there is a 20 minute delay on the go out. Did no one call you? Kate says no. they say well tech. the guy has 3 minutes to get there.
20 minutes pass and kate calls them back. in the middle of the conversation someone beeps in on her phone. They ask if the ppl from AAA have gotten anything done yet. She tells them that they haven't even shown up yet. Then they say, ya we are sending someone right now. he'll be there in 10 minutes.
Guy comes out and fixes the flat with a better lift and then jumps my moms car.
We go to the gas station, get air in the spare and then head out for Taylor. I decide to follow her just in case something else happened. So i follow her there and we both get there in one piece.
Now i'm thinking, finally my night is over and i can go home and sleep.(this being about 2 1/2 hrs after calling AAA), but no, that's not the end of it. As i'm leaving Taylor i get pulled over and get a citation for a bad inspection sticker. The cop that pulls me over is the same cop that arrested me and he even knows that and starts talking about it.
So that's my ninght.

and jade's coming into town soon so that's always cool.
