Fashion faux-pas

Say what you may, but Crocs are amazing when you need to walk through a 10-inch deep puddle on the way back home! ^_^

With today's diluvial storms, the street corners are totally flooded.  I always find a childish pleasure walking under heavy rains, when umbrellas, overwhelmed, become purely decorative accessories and pedestrians huddle under ( Read more... )

Mmmh... it's even better barefoot, you're right! Which city are you in right now? Here, I'm kinda lucky: the temperature doesn't rise much above 20°C. A lot of people complain, but since I don't have access to an AC or a pool, I'm quite happy with a cooler July! ^_^

Thank you for the comment on the pic! I took it thinking about you. Orochimaru's face is a liiiittle paler than his AoD body, but really not by much. The same difference bothered me when Takara used the body, but since Orochimaru has a more prominent chin, it casts a permanent shadow on his neck and the color difference can't be seen.

Yeah that AOD body is swell :)
Do you have to order directly from AoD to get one? I can't remember where you can order them... I think JunkySpot is a place.

Well I was in Quebec yesterday and it was quite warm. BTW applied for a couple of jobs in Montreal so maaaaaybe I'll have developments there.

I've always dealt with AoD directly, except once, when they began selling internationally and had a representative in Singapore. I find their shipping costs acceptable and I've never charged any customs fees when receiving stuff from them (luckylucky~!).

I selfishly hope you get one of the Montréal jobs, though Québec would most likely be more practical for you... One way or the other, I just wish you get a great job!

Yeah... the main issue with job hunting is that you never know *when* you'll find something, so you feel like you can't really enjoy the time you have. All the uncertainty is really taxing... I think things will turn out for the best soon... you've been patient enough!

Oops! I just noticed a bad typo in my previous post: I meant "I've never _been_ charged..."

ok np for the typo.
yeah when you are looking for work you feel like your life is on hold and you can;t concentrate on fun things... Since the next two weeks are going to be the official vacation days... I might just take a small vacation with my mother. her operation will probably be postponed till September.

I do hope something comes soon though.

I think the vacation's a great idea! Whatever you do during that time, you'll allow your brain some time off and by now, it must need it!
