Indiana
this weekend i went to my cousin jacobs wedding in indiana. it was located in decatur. this is where i stayed last summer. the car ride was eternally long.....but we got there at the same time that micah and greg arrived. mariana showed up a bit later. theres really nothing goin on in the town of berne. theres a dairy queen, a subway, a mcdonalds, a cvs pharmachy, and a farmrs markert and a retirment community....and thats it! so luke, mariana phil and i went to pizza hut for dinner. micah and greg went to the rehersal dinner since micah was jacobs best man!!! which is completely awesome. its great that micah has jacob as someone to look up to. well mariana and i decided to explore tht night and we went to cvs for a while and bought a magzine then went to this trading post place and were looking at dvds. now to picture berne besides the obvious lack of anything you must also picture the town overrun with amish. i have nothing against amish by the way. but everywhere you turn theres a horse and buggy there. well we were looking at dvds ard across from us was this amish guy about my age also looking at dvds. which i thought slightly weird since its modern and all. but anyways he would look up occassionally and stare at us...mariana ignored him and we keet talking about different movies we thought were good. all of a sudden he walks over..stops and looks at me and ask "are you married" me..."im sorry?" him "are you married?" me... "no...." he pauses for a moment looks confused then says "well you look liike your going to have a baby" he loooks at my expecting me to say something....i was kind of lost at that point....mariana and i look at eaach other and she says weakly "can we go now...." and so we walk out and about die laughing....me?? pregnant?? hahah. yeaup so thats my run in with the amish. the wedding was wonderful i didnt want to go back to illinois. work was extremly long today. im going ot maranatha sooon! cant wait to see everyone.
