the greatest folly of the human race seems to be that of understanding other people. In the sense that young cannot understand old and old cannot understand young.
i sat here in this dimly lit parking lot watching the tears stream down your porcelain face. watching as your mask cracked in two and saw the inner you. the child that i thought was lost so long ago came peeking through again. i wanted to reach out and touch your tears and be drawn into your inner fears. i reached and saw my finger slide across a glistening salty droplet and felt myself be drawn into a great black hole. i saw your fears, i saw the years speed by and watched as you went from child to where you are now. Lonly and broken now blaming God for where you are. ummmmm no ending
