Just as I said, this entry is going to be a good one... and a long one. Please read it all!
Okay, so I have posted this thing about 7 different times and it shows all this html crap.. and saying error.. So the only way to get the entry to work is to take away all color, underline and bold. This sucks but at least it shows up!

Jeremiah 1:4-9 ; 16-17 ; 19 (New King James Version)
The Prophet Is Called
4 Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying:
5 “ Before I formed you in the womb I knew you;
Before you were born I sanctified you;
I ordained you a prophet to the nations.”
6 Then said I:
“ Ah, Lord GOD!
Behold, I cannot speak, for I am a youth.”
7 But the LORD said to me:
“ Do not say, ‘I am a youth,’
For you shall go to all to whom I send you,
And whatever I command you, you shall speak.
8 Do not be afraid of their faces,
For I am with you to deliver you,” says the LORD.
9 Then the LORD put forth His hand and touched my mouth, and the LORD said to me:
“ Behold, I have put My words in your mouth.
10 See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms,
To root out and to pull down,
To destroy and to throw down,
To build and to plant.”

16 I will utter My judgments
Against them concerning all their wickedness,
Because they have forsaken Me,
Burned incense to other gods,
And worshiped the works of their own hands.
17 “ Therefore prepare yourself and arise,
And speak to them all that I command you.
Do not be dismayed before their faces,
Lest I dismay you before them.

19 They will fight against you,
But they shall not prevail against you.
For I am with you,” says the LORD, “to deliver you.”

Wow, that's some pretty awesome stuff right there that He said to Jeremiah.--
I feel like that is something WE should be doing. All of us as Christians should be "PREPARING OURSELVES" and "Speaking to all that He commands us". I mean, just look at what out nation has come to... If you don't already, come home and watch the news tomorrow night. Notice all the bad things that are going on in our community, and that's just Alabama.. Think about New York or somewhere like that. It's probably 20 times worse. This nation should be ashamed of itself.... The Adults have let themselves go. The Youth, oh man don't even get me started. Having sex all the time... and it doesn't even mean anything anymore. It's not supposed to be a 'game'. It is for love, it's for marriage, it's not something to compete over. Think about it, that is ridiculous. Think about the youth, they are hypocrites. We say, "Yeah, I'm a Christian." And then the same day they go and cuss and sin just as much as someone that isn't a Christian. Just the other day there was someone like that at my lunch... cussing and such, so I told him he needed to stop because he is supposed to be a Christian and that is a hypocrite so he told me he didn't care... so he kept right on with what he was doing. It's pitiful the way people act these days.
Okay, now let's look at our nation in a wider prospective. We have had 2 Major hurricaines. One being the 3rd largest and most destructive in the world!!! We have had horrible earthquakes not too long ago in another country. Our seasons aren't normal... it's abnormally hot for this time of the year and North Alabama is 12 inches below what we should have in rainfall. The weather has just been plain Weird in case you haven't noticed. So why do you think all this has been happening lately? Coincidence? I doubt it.
3 O LORD, are not Your eyes on the truth?
You have stricken them,
But they have not grieved;
You have consumed them,
But they have refused to receive correction.
They have made their faces harder than rock;
They have refused to return.
That is how WE are. He has sticken us but yet we refuse to belive it is because of our own wickedness?!?! He has consumed us and we refuse to seek correction?!?! I'm tired of it. WE NEED TO COME TO OUR SENSES AND BE ASHAMED OF WHAT WE ARE DOING. We need to ask for forgivness. We need to seek His face and witness to anyone and everyone who will listen. I'm tired of sitting around wondering why this and why that... We know why but we deny that it is our own faults that are causing all of this destruction!
"'Do you not fear Me?'

'Will you not tremble at My presence?'"

I am weary of holding it in.
“ I will pour it out on the children outside,
And on the assembly of young men together;
For even the husband shall be taken with the wife,
The aged with him who is full of days.

15 Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination?
No! They were not at all ashamed;
Nor did they know how to blush.

The fruit of their thoughts,
Because they have not heeded My words

‘This is a nation that does not obey the voice

Truth has perished and has been cut off from their mouth

“Behold, My anger and My fury will be poured out on this place-
on man and on beast, on the trees of the field and on the fruit of the ground.
And it will burn and not be quenched.”
