Your first thunder storm and your life has been impacted. The first flash of lightning a defining moment. This is where you decide who you will be for the rest of your life; the moment where you either run and hide, or take on the initial fear and continue to watch the awwe inspiring hazard. Once you've watched the lightning, taken the risk, you'll never go back. There is nothing that anyone can do to take that feeling away from you, and from this day forward you are eternally a risk taker, a thrill seeker. The problem is deciding where to stop, where to draw the line; after all, when do you become a stupid risk taker...is there any such thing as a safe risk? I don't want you to misinterpret what I am saying, this is not a "there-are-two-kinds-of-people-in-this-world" cliche. Too often people try to define others by putting them into two groups, yet there are never ending possiblities to what groups you pick, thus making the whole thing a waste of time. After all with so many groups to choose from it's not realistic that everyone can be defined by only two. As proof I point out that there are always those who are terrified of the lightning in the beginning, but eventually become more enthusiastic about it then those that watched initally. To be completely honest, those who pursue the lightning later are probably more likely to get the most out of it because they know what it's like on the other end. Eventually you are required to decide who you want to be, and what you are going to do to become that person. Often people think that the lightning scared them for a reason and they have no desire to descover what that reason was. Too often people let things happen to them and never realize that they are letting life pass them by.
