Mother's day is so busy at the office
I pulled the Mother's day shift at the office since Lindsey wanted to spend the weekened out of town. Hell, with his hand I still would have been stuck here trying to help him out. He covered for me since he and his boy were back in the office today.
I know most people wouldn't think Mother's day is a busy day at a law firm. Most people don't work at Wolfram and Hart. Do you have any idea the amount of expecting Mothers who want to back out of contracts to sell their babies? Demon mothers, human mothers, all the same. They want to sell the kid to the highest bidder when its shown that their kid is part of some prophecy and then want to back out when the holiday kicks in.
I managed to keep all of our clients appeased and every contract will be honored. Apparently the Liason still wishes to meet with me. I returned his message and told him to just tell me when and where.
I stopped in the office briefly and I swear Evan and Lindsey had the same 'cat that ate the canary' looks on their faces. I think I'm glad I was away from wherever those two spent their celebratory weekend.
