... and eighteen months later ...
hello hello people. as you can tell i am quite lazy with the updating. i was myspacing for a while and now i'm kind of caught up in facebook and i only really come on here to check _realthin and ifeel_likeasong. so here is a little run down of my year so far (what i can remember):
january
i did my usual admin job and then flew to cairns town for 4 days to see my matt <3
february
spent 50% of my time in admin and 50% of my time filling in whilst other people went vacation. but i got them back good (: on the 28th i flew to fiji for my 21st birthday, yayyy!!
march
spent two weeks in fiji celebrating my aunty's 60th and my 21st... only to return to discover i'm covering for our office hypochondriac for the next "six weeks" *cough*9weekslater*cough* with shit hours and not her over the top salary ;( yes i am that petty
april
still covering at work. my beautiful boyfriend came down for easter which was much fun. and pre-anzac day partying.
may
hopefully i can remember this month with a bit more substance. matt came down for 2 weeks which was awesome, but so sad to see him leave. i am hopefully getting my old desk job back tomorrow. i think i avoided swine flu only to be attacked with ordinary garden variety flu, must to my dismay after being vaccinated.
in other random news
* matt is hopefully moving down soon to complete his apprenticeship on the GC
* i am slowly being immersed into nrl by my new GC friends... it's "different"
* i found a skating rink about 15mins from my house and am in love again
