how wonderful is all of this!
i have been shaking snow out of trees,
i have been dancing down the sidewalk to caribou songs and grinning at everyone,
i've been writing in the snow with my cold leftover coffee (and the ones i find by the garbage can).
work has been a mess of cancelled and undeliverable orders, absent distributors, undrivable trucks. i don't mind at all. i love the chaos. i love that my manager had to pick a bunch of us up in the mornings when we're late for work and the buses just plain don't come. i love the 20 victoria that was jammed in across the bottom of commercial at hastings the other day, making passage just plain impossible. i love my near un-climbable front staircase. i love the quiet and the surrendering trees and the snowflakes in my hair. i love it all and i want this to never stop.
i am headed to coquitlam to spend christmas eve and christmas day with my family. time to pack up and go outside.
