The Night Before

[cordiechase]

After Xander dropped me off, I said my goodnights to mom and dad and headed straight to my bedroom. I knew I was safe here. I took a shower and put on my silk red mid-thigh nightgown. I laid down in bed and tried my hardest to sleep.

Angelus snuck up behind me at The Bronze flirting with me and whispering in my ear. He made me shiver

I was laying in bed worrying about Cordelia as well as thinking about Willow and what she is thinking when my phone rings. I knew that my parents were out at some bar as per usual so I answered.

"Hello?"

I said I could hear Cordelia on the other end breating heavily and sounding terrified.

"Cordy, talk to me, what happened?"

I asked worried as I sat up

[cordiechase]

I hear his voice. I feel relieved, that he's up.

"It's ok, Xander. I-I just had a nightmare", I said on the phone softly.

"D-Do you think you can come over? My parents are home, but you can climb up on my balcony. I won't be able to sleep. I need you here with me. Well, that's if you don't mind coming over...", I say hesitantly.

[seerxander]

I told her I should have stayed...

"I will be there in 20 minutes"

I said softly as I threw my jacket on and grabbed the keys to Cordy's car.

"Anything you want me to bring?"

[cordiechase]

I smiled when he asked if I wanted him to bring anything. Xander is so sweet. I love him, so much. I don't know why it took so long for me to realize my feelings.

"No, just bring you", I say laughing softly. "And, hurry up, so we can cuddle".

[seerxander]

I let out a small chuckle

"I will be there in a bit ok. And Cor..I love you."

I said then hung up remembering how much I really do care about her.

[cordiechase]

I was going to change, but I decided to just keep my nightgown on. Of course, he'll probably drool when he sees me, but that's ok. I laugh to myself imagining him drooling.

Xander should have just stayed. I didn't want to bother him this late. I just needed him here with me. To feel him.

I hope he gets here soon.

[seerxander]

I find my way to a store that is actually still open and get her some flowers, she needs to smile and what can I say I am gonna try to make her smile.

I finally get a dozen red roses and a cute bear and head back to her house. I knew I would be climibing up the balcony, but luckily she made it easy one day and left a ladder for me..thank god.

I finally got to the house parked the car and in silence made my way up the balcony and knocked on the door. When she answered my jaw dropped she looked amazing.

"You are gorgeous"

[cordiechase]

"Thank you", I said blushing with a huge smile. "Awwww, Xander. I told you I didn't want anything. You're too good to me", I say as I wrap my arms around him and kiss him on the mouth.

I finally pulled away and took the flowers and put them in the vase on my nightstand, and I put the adorable bear on my bed. "He's going to be you when you aren't here". I turn to him. "Why don't you get comfortable"

I wanted him to be comfortable in my house. He was all stiff and nervous. I wanted to laugh, it was so cute.

[seerxander]

"W--where are your parents..still havent gotten the layout of this house figured out yet."

I said as I moved closer to her, I wanted to hold her, kiss her and do other naughty things to her, but I didnt want her parents to hear me in here if they could.

[cordiechase]

I close the gap between us. I snake my arms around his neck. "Xander, stop being so nervous. They're room is all the way on the other side of the house. The east wing. So, you can talk if you want. No need to whisper", I said to him as I look into his eyes.

"I love you, Xander. I'm so glad you came over. This is like our first official sleepover", I say as I kiss him.

This was nice.

[seerxander]

I relax as she kisses me, Cordelia Chase loves me and she wants me to stay here...this is all new to me.

"Cordelia"

I whisper

"Is it bad that I want to do more than ummm kiss?"

I asked blushing.

[cordiechase]

Oh no. The 'more than kiss' talk. Does he not know what I've gone through? I do want to go further, but I don't know if I'm ready just yet.

God, he was blushing, which made matters worse. I love when he blushes. He's such a dork.

"Xander, if you're talking about sex, I don't know if I'm ready. This whole week has been crazy and scary. I'm sorry", I say looking down. "We can make out, if you want. You know, touchy feely", I say smirking. "But, no sex. I-I'm just not ready".

"If it makes you feel any better, I want you to be my first", I say kissing him.

[seerxander]

I look into her eyes my voice in serious tone now.

"Cordelia, whenever you are ready, I am..I..I love you and I want to show you that. I know I am a dork not denying that, and I know that being first for both of us it will be weird, I just want to share that with you..and only you."

I said softly as I kissed her passionatly.

"But"

I started

"When you are ready and not before...I would wait till the end of time for you."

There are tears in my eyes. No one, I mean no one has said anything like that to me. This was all so new to me. Emotions, I've never felt. Xander brought them out in me.

"Xander", I whisper his name as I kiss him back with more passion than ever.

"I love you too, and I want to show you too, but we have all the time in the world. Yes, you're a dork, but you're my dork", I giggle.

[seerxander]

I chuckle as she says that.

"Atleast I am someone's dork"

I said softly as I slowly pick her up into my arms kissing her and carry her to the bed, kicking my shoes off on the way. Once I have laid her perfectly onto the bed I lay next to her gazing into her eyes then leaning in and kissing her.

"I love you."

I whisper

"I love you too", I whisper.

His kisses make me melt. It's amazing. Who would have thought...Xander Harris is by far the best kisser!

"Hey buster, did you bring a change of clothes with you? I didn't see you bring in a bag. I can't have a dirty boyfriend in the morning", I say to him laughing. I kiss him again.
