The last time I went to see this band live I got very sick, spent 45 minutes in the bathroom and basically didn't get to hear one full song.
So as you can imagine, I was looking forward to this show VERY much.
Especially since it was in a great venue in my hometown.
Anyway, so I went there tonight, quite late, arrived when the support act just started playing.
They were rubbish but we found ourselves some really comfortable box/couch thingies to sit on (and later stand on which gave us a PERFECT view).
Support act finished, stage dressing was changed and they came on!
Fiction Plane!
They rocked it from the first note. The venue is famous for its great sound but in the beginning it was still a bit off. That was rapidly fixed though.
The played all my favourite songs which you probably haven't heard of so I won't bother writing down the names.
Before the encore some guy who worked at the venue announced that Fiction Plane would be signing for about an hour after the show was over.
Then they came on again to play Two Sisters, their 3FM radio hit.
When the show was over we went downstairs to get some air. When we were sitting there we saw a bunch of camera phones in the air so that was a sign the guys had arrived.
My brother's girlfriend wanted an autographed t-shirt so I went with her.
I'm not really one for autographs but I wanted to say hi to the band and thank them for this awesome show (cheesy I know, but I wanted to do it anyway).
So she got her shirt and I bought a cd (that I already had hehe) so they could sign it and I would have an excuse to talk to them.
So yeah, I got to thank them for a great show and they ofcourse thanked us for being such a great audience.. so all was well again. :)
