Yesterday was a very pleasant day. Hugh, Joe, Lauren, Matt and myself drank margaritas and Coronitas and lounged in the sun for most of the day. There was football throwing and Jeopardy watching, along with various other activities. Several other people stopped by. In general, the day was very pleasant. A pleasant day turned into a pleasant evening and eventually night came. A days worth of drinking tired me out however, and I didn't take part in too many of the night time activities. I am pretty sure that I left my marijuana pipe at the girls' place. Lauren, Tatia, or Robin, if any of you are reading this, please set it aside. I will be by today or tomorrow to claim it.
I must say, I am paying for enjoyable time now. My stomach is all stirred up and I am dealing with some severe acid reflux. I am reporting from my bedroom, which is stiflingly humid, even with the fan running and both the door and the windows open. I refuse to run AC this early in the year, although I wouldn't be surprised if my sister has turned it on. I took a cold shower early this afternoon. I have been taking 2 cold showers a day for the past 3 or 4 days. I only wish that the humidity didn't make it such a task to effectively dry myself off.
That Led Zeppelin live thing they keep showing on VH1 classic is pretty cool. I especially dig the part where they play 'the Rain Song,' and it cuts to some sort of fantasy wherein Robert Plant is riding, on horseback, around the British countryside and then out of nowhere is engaged in a sword fight with someone. 'The Rain Song' is a pretty spectacular piece of music on its own, by the way.
