Today are the civic elections in Toronto. I am not working this election, I've never done civic, and all positions were filled when I called anyway. This is actually a good thing as I have a pretty busy day today. Elections Canada finally got back to us about a job for the election, my training is on tuesday I think. I'll be one position higher than I was last election, which is more responsibility for like $15 more, but I did all that work last time without the extra $15, so better to have the title and extra money. The check from elections canada finally came! And it's for 15 dollars less than I expected! Horray! I worked my ass off till 1 in the morning for a measly $150 plus $35 for training!
