(no subject)
Man, this weekend is just too busy. I am supposed to be tutoring as he has his exam on monday morning. I have a matinée shift on saturday. I am moving in with Vicky. There is a Luminato event with plays by Kate Hewlett and Brendan Gall and it's FREE. I have (also free!) tickets to a short film program that includes this and this, both of which I really want to see, for right after my shift saturday. And Young People Fucking has a Q+A with Gero and Abrams after the matinée screening saturday (while I will be at work, or moving if I have to call in sick and move saturday). Why couldn't any of these things been last weekend, or even better the one before when I had nothing to do at all? I know the most I will possibly get done is the moving and work stuff (and I may only be able to move and have to skip work at that) but I really wish I had the weekend free for the other stuff too.
And now I'm off to bed, assuming I can get the brothers to shut it. They are arguing about the computer. It seems they thought that just because they said 'you are not taking it, I won't let you.' and 'over your dead body' (an exact quote from the older brother there folks!) that I would actually leave it for them and go computerless until I can save up to fix the good pc. The very same good pc I would've fixed like a year and a half ago if I weren't paying all their expenses on top of my own this whole time. They got very upset when I suggested that they may want to burn to disc anything they cannot live without for the next few months, and now are fighting over the merit of my argument and how well they can get by with the very very shitty very very old pc (as opposed to this one which is just shitty and old, and which I will happily return when my good pc is fixed).
And they quieted down. Bed it is. Slept 4 hours last night plus a half hour nap before SYTYCD was on earlier tonight. Am tired.
