i wonder if i should stick to my old style of frequenting this thing every several weeks at a time with a very cohesive idea. But what is good about writing frequently is that it keeps you from thinking the same thoughts. i had a conversation a while ago with jared saying its always good to actually get things out because when you keep it in your head, your ideas become circular arguments. Especially if its something negative. it just keeps running around your head, brain washing you, without any sense of progress. whereas, if you talk to someone, or write something down, you're disinclined to run in circles. For the most part, we've been conditioned to write to get from Point A with the first paragraph and be at a totally different place, Point B by the end of the writing.

i like that. that's great.  anyway:

It's not the problems, its what we do about the problems. this is clear, and, ironically, have written that probably several times. What's hard about that is I never think about that in those moments where the problems bog me down. Lately, to get myself out of destructive thinking, i say "What does this make you want to do?" or "Well then what are you going to do about it?" Which is great, i just need that sentence to come much, much sooner.  Sulking's for losers. Fuck that.
Stop feeling sorry for yourself, and stop beating yourself up. Move forward.
Shooting tomorrow, Yay.(completing scene)
Shooting sunday, Yay. (completing scene)

i started messing with my digital piano. its a full 88 keys, which are weighted, and pressure sensitive. So it mimics a regular piano quite well i think. its so hard to try and completely learn to play a song tho. Right now, Donell Jones "Where I Wanna Be" is sitting on the music sheet holding thing, courtesy of Hana's brother.
I really wanna be that old man who can play all the happy old man songs such as:

Singin' In The Rain
Somewhere Over The Rainbow
What A Wonderful World
Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head
Piano Man
In My Life
Lean On Me

...And many more!.....

but then I think, why can't I be a happy young guy? of course i can.
Anyway, I ordered the AT&T Tilt today. I look forward to it organizing myself a little bit better, actually, a lot better, cuz  a paper planner just isn't practical these days. Plus I can submit to auditions anywhere i go, which is cool. And I got it for $150, sweet.

still wanting, a dog...
