Adult Content filter?

So LJ has implemented a Adult Filter button. Too tired to do any analysis of it, but while I agree with the general principle that some material people post shouldn't be available to minors this method doesn't sit well with me. There's a red flag popping up in my head (bad pun, haha) over the 'flag journal' button because I can see a lot of people abusing it and using the flag as a weapon against people they don't like on LJ or in emo LJ-wankage.

Other thoughts on this, since my brain is kinda dead after reading endless court cases?
