time
thank you virginia woolf for showing that time is of little importance. and thank you gabriel garcia marquez for proving that time is cyclical. i never believed either thing but as i sit and think about the last two and some odd years both things seem very true.
i enjoy reading. i had forgotten that until recently. perhaps i was distracted by the mandatory reading of school. i decided i would re-read their eyes were watching god. i love that book but this time around it's a little harder to read. i think it's all of the markings. i want to know why i made them. what does the tree symbolize (janie's life i believe...if my memory does not fail me)? maybe it's the dialect. hearing and reading heavy southern dialiect are different. that and i am plagued by the south at this moment. who knows. if anyone has a book they would like to suggest, i am all ears. i had to stray from my stack because they were depressing and far too academic.
