First book, chapter eleven

Single chapter, just a few quotes, so it won't go under a cut.

Chapter eleven (Quidditch)

First match ever, and exciting as Harry's broom is hexed during it.
She would never let them copy ("How will you learn?"), but by asking her to read it through, they got the right answers anyway.

Concerning the parenthetical note - I totally agree, Hermione, and have always agreed.

And it's so funny to see Harry and Ron (and a little later on, Hermione) plotting together for the first time about Snape and the third floor corridor.  They're still so innocent...and I really think it's the first time they're actually hunting out adventure on their own, where it doesn't directly concern them and isn't pulling them into it.

Marcus Flint seized the Quaffle and scored five times without anyone noticing.
Oh, that is such a true Slytherin.  Hee.  I approve.
