something really witty
I had been really enjoying the weather lately... I was having huge flash backs of Melbourne, leaves changing colour, drizzle, cool weather... the last few days have been bright and sunny and have ripped me out of the sentimental memories :(
But I have been steadily working on catching up on all my email. Must come up with a way for handling it all towards the end of the year better than I have in the past. One step is to start on those tasks that take me away from the email earlier... namely handmade presents and Christmas cards. I had every intention at the start of the year, but haven't gone so great. I did go to Spotlight looking for 25 count Lugana for next cross-stitch project, but of course they didn't have any. And to cap all those things off I have signed up to some major rubber-stamping swaps over the next few months... sometimes I have no idea what I am thinking...
Today I should have been going up to school to enjoy the Education Week activities, but I had to dye my hair. Bad Mummy. It's amazing how quick hair can go from "hmm, I can see a bit of re-growth" to "ARGH! So much re-growth... I do not want to be seen in public!". So as part of that I have been watching Stargate SG1 "Nemesis"... follow my train of thought? It's all part of catching up, though I don't think I'll bother posting my favourite scenes (for the danandjan list) this late in the game... they'd mostly consist of "fishing" and "Major Paul Davis" (aside from the obvious ;) ).
In a nut shell, that is my day.
