...talk about a toilet break. Where have I been?.
Oh right, Gilmore Girls. I sometimes forget that I have a life outside the show. Hey don't get me wrong. I love what I do and the show and everyone who have contributed to it. Because, c'mon let's face it...can you picture me handling ALL the coffee on set? Like, hello! Like not in this lifetime. *laughs*
On to other news, I'm not doing a really good of of keeping these GG kids together am I? *sighs* I mean, really...I only do what they hand me on the script. As far as real life goes..it's so much more harder. Keeping things together in real life is never EVER a 40 minute show.
Reality can NEVER be turned off when the hour is done. Reality can never be taped to be scrutinised or analysed over for another day. Reality can never be fast forwarded or rewinded. Heck, even Reality TV doesn't do REALITY any justice.
I know the majority of you are young and have that bit of life and zest that us older YET wiser folks may SOMETIMES envy. BUT that doesn't give you the liscence to be careless. Careless about the people who you surround yourself with, careless about your actions towards others. Careless about the way you make people feel. Sometimes...it even comes down to being careless about how you say "hello". I mean, how easy is it to snort a "hello" and make that person you're saying hello to, feel like crap because you haven't given them the time of day AND respect they probably deserve.
I admit, I'm an outsider and probably have no place in saying any of this...but, I can and I have. There! Hopefully SOME of you have read this and got something out of it..if not for the obvious message, but for the fact that you've heard from Lauren Graham...that crazy lady who can't live without coffee and who was OVERLOOKED for an EMMY....yes.
