Not super on-topic, but tangential: Gov't hiring for US census jobs

Hey, anyone need a job? The US Government is starting to hire temporary workers in anticipation of the 2010 census. Paid training. Spread the word. They need bilingual speakers!

The e-mail I received said it was $18 per hour, but I can't find this exact number on the website, so I'm guessing it may vary depending on responsibilities.

I hadn't thought about the census until I heard about this. I'm kind of excited now. We keep hearing that the Latino population is rising. I want updated data to see how the trend is going. :)
