Some say it's a cold world we live in. Literally or figuratively? Lately, thankfully, I've only been being bit by the literal.
At any rate, it's more comforting to put on a blanket and a sweater than traipse around stark naked to avoid heatstroke. Here's hoping we get above zero by my classes tommorow.
I wish I were better at dealing with situations that required confrontation.
My philosophy course is definitely going to be my most interesting. My English course looks like a drag, maybe I should be a Phil/History major Physics/French minor instead. Physics and math don't look too far beyond me provided I pass that darn placement exam. Watch that statement will come back to bite me.
This winter is nearing the stage where I feel mired in melancholy. It's too early for that already. Perhaps there are just too many things unsettled, even those things I may have been sure of a few weeks ago are appearing more like anvils balanced on twigs. There are simply too many things that we've been told (perhaps mistakenly) are grave and must be decided right now. Yet, it doesn't seem like anyone is up for making the choice, however much effort they put into creating a guise that they have.
Mean what you say and say what you mean. I should adhere more carefully.
