neither May nor June - still April

my mom found a May (!) beetle today and brought it over since she knows that I love these bugs but haven't seen one alive for a couple of years.
what a fun - I got tickled by it for some time before it flew off !

and then the weather:
this week the temperature is so summer-like !
but it's still April, not early June.
