Well!!
Silly me, I thought Livejournal had died..and I randomly log on and check my friends page, and there are a ton of new entries! WHOA.
Anyway, summer is coming soon! Classes are done in two weeks and I can't wait! weeee!!
I thought I was going to Europe this summer and, it turns out, I'm really not. Fuckin' bummer, man!!!! Now I'll just be working a lot and taking classes and have a BA (BadAss) summer in the ROC. Hollllerrrrr.
Mostly I just can't wait to get away from my ridiculous roommate. Ugh, I hate her.
Some good news-
My sister has visited me a lot at school. My friends here like her, and I'm starting to like her more, too, which is cool considering I have to spend 4 months hanging around her. Huh! And she's going to EMU next year (like 15 minutes away from me), so we're going to hang out a lot next year, too.
I also got accepted into UROP (Undergraduate Research Opportunity), but I don't know if I'll accept. We'll see...I know it'll be good for me (and my resume!!!) but I don't know if I'll have time!
Also, I did this thing UMDM (UM Dance Marathon) and it was freaking amazing. We all stood for 30 hours and we didn't actually dance the whole time, but we did learn a bitchin' 13 minute long line dance! And it was amazzzing... All the money we raised goes directly to our team's "family" who has a child (or two) with a disability and the money makes therapy for the kid's cheaper. We raised over $351,000. Whoooa!!! :) It was awesome.
There are so many crazy movies coming out in the near future....I probs won't see any of them. The only movie that matters this summer: Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix! Holy shit!!!! Not to mention the fucking last novel comes out, too!!! ahh!!!
ANDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD I have a chance to get A-'s in all of my classes! Haha, I know, pretty sweet! That's a 3.7 gpa! That'd be sweet.
