End of something good...

God it's so late...haha I don't even know why I am up this late. Well, today was the last day of class and tomorrow will be the last day for the program. All I can say is that the program was pretty good. I enjoyed all of my classes, especially my research class, even though I have to admit that it was pretty stressful and tedious at the same time. I've met so many great people that I can't believe I'll be missing them all summer. They're a great group of people and I am fortunate enough to meet all of them.

Kim's in my room and we're just up...our bedtime was at 11 pm but the TA's are all patrolling, I don't think they know she's in here! Lmao, yea all the juniors were planning to meet in the lounge at 2:00 am, but my friend's telling me that they've already caught on. Haha, I can't stay up that late..dude, I'm falling asleep right now!!

Anyway, I sprained my ankle at tennis practice today. We were playing skyball and Nhi and I were at the net hitting volleys. Then there was this one ball I think I got in, but when I stepped to the side, my ankle actually gave out..or like rolled over and I sprained it pretty bad. I just fell down and I was about ready to bawl my eyes out from the pain. It was excruciating for that 10 seconds. It seemed like forever. Anyhow, Michael and Henry helped me get up and walk me over so that I can sit out from the game. I was doing fine, the pain kind of went down too.

My dad came and I knew that I couldn't let those guys carry me back to the car. So he came out and told me what was wrong. He helped me back to the car and stuff. He told me to stop being so careless. But how was I careless? It was an accident! I don't think he believed me and at home my mom was all crazy about me being so clusmy and attributing it to my lack of sleep. ARg, I don't think that was the case. I just slipped -- a minor mishap. Whatever it was...it's just plain painful.

I get back to the Pomona Campus limping. It's hard keeping up with people. I knew I was "laggin" in Kim's terms. haha, stinky Kim, but it was very painful. I think I made it worse by putting ice on it. I don't think I can walk anymore...my ankle just gave out.

Well, I am just hoping that it heals right and that I can get back on the courts soon enough. If not..then that's the end of my tennis career. No shame in that, but I just hope my ankle doesn't hurt anymore because then I'd be really frustrated and angry at myself. Oi....life just...sucks!
