Southbound
Ed arrived, safe and well, in Oakham last night, which was good to hear. He seemed very upbeat, and said he had been awake 35 hours, surviving on only coffee o.O
I've been selected to volunteer at the Southbound Concert on Jan 2nd. Am SO looking forward to this, bands such as Dandy Warhols, Pete Murray, Dallas Crane, End Of Fashion, Ozomatli, Xavier Rudd, Hoodoo Gurus, The Shins, The Beautiful Girls, Butterfingers, The Panics, Vasco Era, Downsyde, The Grates. And more. They've added a DJ set this time, or something. I want to see Dandy Warhols the most. *twirl*
All I have to do is stack beer for 6 hours the day before. That's not bad for a $90 ticket, is it? :D
Speaking of Dandy Warhols, can you believe they are practically unknown in the US, from what I can gather? I mean, their album Thirteen Tales of Urban Bohemia (iirc) has gone platinum here (and the UK too, I think). Hahaha. Interesting fact --
ANYWAY. So Greg was at the meeting last night. I do believe he is stacking the same day as me hope he is stacking the same day as me. I must confess, I didn't think I'd see him again until school went back. Just goes to show ...
