Cosmetics
Ok, everyone. I need opinions and ideas!
Ever since I was about 8, I'd create mixes and potions and cosmetics in the kitchen, and I've always entertained the idea of starting a cosmetics company...
Today, I had an idea for a first project and I've been looking at ingrediants and pricing and stuff like that...
My idea for an initial product is Lip Balm with some form of a patchouli scent. Of course lip balm is actually a rather universal balm and can be used on cuticals and such... so i'd prolly market it as a universal balm.
But anyways...if I go through with it this summer, I'll brew up a bunch of testers and sell them to friends for like...just enough to cover production costs.. like a buck.. and have them test them and give me feedback so I can finish developing over the next schoolyear. After that, it;s about retail.
Sooooo... Does anyone have any comments, opinions, or ideas?
The "brand" is going to be about "earthy sophistication"... foreign name and labels, with the english in small print below. making the language up as an example, the name would be "Rovinche" and the product "balsa del sagge / sage balm"... general visionary idea.
