it's strange that summer is pretty much over today. my first summer without cty, and i don't really feel its absence as much as i thought i would. there are fireworks tonight, and that always reminds me of july 4th at cty when we couldn't see any fireworks but the pop-pop-popping sounds [of the carlisle gang wars!] could be heard, and we ate faux-bbq in the hub with red gingham checkered tablecloths. but i digress...
and since everybody has this up:
