so i'm in germany now...
my flight on wednesday was at 9PM. there was a traffic jam, and i got to the check-in counter at 8:10 PM.
umk, so...deutschland. my uncle is an ob-gyn (obstetrician-gynecologist), and german hospitals are really lax compared with american ones. this interning is literally hands on. first thing in the morning, i got into scrubs and a surgical mask, and observed a caesarian section, laproscopy, and some painful looking thing that i won't describe because someone might have a weak stomach. c-section was cool, but at the same time, makes me never want to have babies. as they cut the womb open, the freaking water and blood fountain-ed out EVERYWHERE. sorry, i really hope you're not eating right now.
my uncle had me, um, internally examine the patients. it was kind of embarrassing (for me, at least), because after their surgeries, i met the patients, and i was just thinking...'so, i felt up your uterus while you were knocked out on the op table...'. next week, i get to do procedures, like putting needles in, doing sonograms on patients with this plastic penis thing, blahblahblah.
ANYWAY, if you have the chance, email me (missamericanpie@gmail.com).
