he claims to have a "good relationship" with the produce man at the grocery store on the basis of seeing each other every friday when he goes grocery shopping.
this is how lame our grocery store is:
while they have every type of dutch candy and rusk and whatever-you'd-want under the sun, they neither carry pita bread, nor hummus.
this is how lame west michigan is:
you pretty much have to go to grand rapids to find a cool food store. i'm pretty sure that ferndale had like, four on one street.
