Visiting free exhibitions and seeing the views and types of people in the galleries has become more like a hobby rather than just something to get my assignments done. Once you enter a gallery and after seeing one after another, you almost feel like you're in a time line and you do get lost just because they have the most confusing path ways but that's what makes it so intriguing, the exhibition itself becomes an art work too. Every time i finish visiting a gallery here i always remember my first gallery visit, how it felt like back in London. I also remember back in Qatar, the only 'exhibition' we actually went to was actually in the British council and that wasn't even in a proper gallery. There's a sense of nostalgia just thinking about it and how i arrive to this point which opens up to a lot of opportunities. I guess I'm just grateful :)
Also free exhibitions are wonderful! We're so lucky getting to see ancient art work for free, some of them aren't free but most of them are! Who knows later on we might just have to pay to see these works. Oh and i love the student work i posted up there and the fact he included Wally.
