The Escrow Is Now Open
it's official. we opened up escrow on our new condo today. A 30 day escrow to be exact.
This is going to be the longest 30 days of my life.
All kinds of things can happen while your property is in escrow.
Just cuz it's in escrow, does not mean it's mine.
I believe God though, so anything that happens, happens for a reason.
So if it is God's will, 30 days from now, I will be jingling a pair of keys to my new condo in my hand, and in the other I will have a gallon of Ralph Lauren Designer Paint, and a paint brush ready to attack those walls and make them my own.
I have my whole color palette almost selected. I was checking out a lot of designs from Pottery Barn for inspiration. After all is said and done I can't even afford to online browse through their site. It's way out of my price range. IKEA Target is more my speed after dropping money on this condo. So I'll be grabbing design Ideas from Pottery Barn, and getting comparable things from IKEA or Target. That's how you get the look for less.
I really want nice neutral brown or grey hues on my walls with white trim and white crown moulding. I also have my eye on some plantation shutters for the front windows of my condo also. I love those, they look so chic. I just need to do something about those ol' skool kitchen cabinets. Boo they're that wooden stained brown color. Maybe I can paint those too.
anyways all this daydreaming is getting me a little pooped. I'm off to bed to dream about 30 days from now.
