(no subject)
Key West was SO much fun. We flew out on thursday night from New Orleans. Shaylee did good on the plane. She didn't cry at all. Our plane was delayed so we didn't get to Miami til a like 10:30. Then we had to go get the rental car. I was mad cause it was taking forever and the drive to Key West from Miami is 3 hrs. My hubby said he was tired and we thought about getting a hotel room for the night but I was to excited and said I would drive. We got to Key West at 2:30 am. I drove the whole way. The drive was not bad at all. Friday we went to eat for lunch and visited with family. Friday night we fished in the canal. Caught a couple of fish. Then saturday we went over to my dads cousins for a little bit then back to his friends house (where we were staying). I ate a ton of food. Then sunday we went by to see a friend. Then we had to stop by and say bye to everyone. We left Key West around 4:30 pm. Stayed the night in Miami and left out monday morning. I can't wait to go back to KW again. It was a much needed visit. I don't realize how much I miss home til I visit.
I have a wedding to be in on Saturday. My hubby is in the wedding too. I hope Shaylee is good during the wedding. She will be sitting with my hubby's aunt. This is my first wedding I am in .. well besides my own. So far its cost us about 400 dollars to be in the wedding. Weddings are expensive!!
I need to start planning Shaylee's 1st birthday party. I'm not sure what colors I want to do yet... maybe pink and brown. I want a pink pumpkin cake. We might do a little hay ride since its in October. My parents and my mother in law are all going to be here. My brother might come from Key West also. I need to find Shaylee in outfit for her party. Don't know what I want to do about the food yet? Maybe just bbq .. Lots to decide.. good thing I have 3 months til then.
Well I need to start some laundry and finish cleaning up. Hope everyone is good.
