I GOT A JOB !
I finally got a job !!!!!! So today I had to go in for the interview . I was so nervous and was debating on actually calling and asking for the interview . I have never been rejected and I wasnt sure I could handle going in for an interview and being turned down . When I talked to the guy yesterday he had been interviewing people all day , so it made me nervous to have that much competition . So I went anyway cause my boyfriend said he would be proud whether I got the job or not , he said the worse they could do was say your not what were lookin for and then so what there missing out in that case . Well I got there and the first thing the guy says is ... how old are you .. haha cause I look so young . im 24 incase you wanted to know , but i look about 17 or 18 . Well its a family owned business so I first interviewed with the son , once he liked me I then was interviewed by his dad , the owner . Since he was in the navy before we had alot to talk about . He was on the same kind of ship that my boyfriend is on now . I was surprised in how outgoing I was . We talked for about an hour about not just work related things , but about the navy , religion and family . Anyways I was hired !! They picked me over other people . Im not sure what im more happier about .. getting a job , or getting picked over other people . Anyways my hours are mon - fri 9-5 , no weekends .. yay .. and im off on holidays !! .. At first i will be working part time for a little bit from 12- 5 , except the first week 9-5 to learn the stuff .. oh yeah im gonna be a secretary for a shipping company .. the phone hardly rings , so looks like i will just be filing papers . should be a easy job . :) well i will probably write tommorow and let you know how my first day went ...
