I bought a new (used) car last Friday. I'm pretty over the moon about it - a V6 with 30 valves...all wheel drive, which will make WI winter driving so much easier. And it has a cooler in the glove box. None of these things are essential, but the new car payment is less than the old car payment. That thrills me.
I read The Help by Kathryn Sockett in one sitting this past weekend. I loved it.
Also, I have the plague. This is the fourth Monday in a row I've woken up sick. It's getting kind of old. A reminding me, again, and again, not to take good health for granted.
Tried to watch Richard Kelly's Southland Tales this weekend and just couldn't. It was unbearable.
